Questions
Sending a brief
- A new email to stephen@thegrowthbully.com. Not WhatsApp, not the report thread.
- One request per email.
- This subject line:
[Your company] Brief: <topic>
Example: [Acme] Brief: wine evening 30 Nov. No reply in one working day? Forward it with BLOCKED in the subject.
What goes in it
Eight lines. Paste them, fill them in.
Goal · Audience · Offer · Deadline · Must include · Must avoid · Assets link · Approver
- Goal: the one number that says it worked.
- Offer: exact price and conditions. The ad states them.
- Deadline: the live date, not the draft date.
- Must avoid: include operational facts. We check creatives against them.
- Approver: one name.
What happens next
- 1 working dayAcknowledged in writingYou: see if it is in scope, quoted or next month.
- Same threadDate confirmed in writingYou: send assets on time. Each day late moves the date.
- Before liveFirst draft to approveYou: approve, or send one numbered list.
- Live dateLive, with a note on the threadYou: nothing.
For the monthly plan, brief about two weeks before the month. Later is next month or rush work.
Sending files
- One folder on Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive, or a WeTransfer link. Got a folder from us? Use that.
- Sharing: anyone with the link can view. On Drive: Share, General access, Anyone with the link, Viewer.
- Original files. No zips, no WhatsApp, no email attachments over 20 MB.
- Name them like this:
YYYYMMDD_Company_Category_Description_v01
- Reply on the thread with the link and the file count.
We reply "received, N files" within one working day. Passwords never by email: send a one-time link.
Event brief
Live three weeks before the date. Send it all in one email:
- Date, start and end time
- Venue pin and capacity
- Ticket link, and seat or table per booking
- What the price includes
- Partner logos, and who on their page will accept the co-host invite
- One approver, and whose card the ads run on
Product or offer sheet
A spreadsheet, one row per item:
- Name and a one-line description
- Price (with or without VAT), offer and dates
- Real photos, square and upright
- Landing URL and stock limit
- Legal wording that must appear
Landing page footer
No paid traffic until the page has:
- Company number and registered address
- An email and phone someone answers
- Privacy and terms links on your own site
- A real portrait and a short first-person bio
- One real proof point you can attribute
Newsletter
- Which platform sends it today, and an invite to it
- Three to five topics for edition one
- Who signs off, and any separate approver for regulated wording
